Blood Donation

BLOOD DONATION CAMPAIGN ON THIS SUNDAY

Our club's third vice president, Mr Leo Andy Ooi Chia Yang is the co-organizing chairperson for this coming blood drive on 7th December 2008. This is a joint project with the Leo Club of Convent Datuk Kramat and the OC behind this project is Leo Ong Li Fei, the treasurer of their club. Please come by and help out on this campaign.

There's not only blood donation, but also health screening, eye checks and collection of recyclable items. This will be held at Kheng Tean Primary School on Jalan Perak.

Everyone, form 1 to 4 members please attend this lovely activity as attendance will be taken.

Attire : Club T / T with Vest
Time : 8.00am - 2.30pm
Venue : SRJC (C) Kheng Tean, Jalan Perak, Jelutong

There will be light meals available, please help yourself with it and you may invite anyone to come and join the blood donation and other activity available on site. Have fun.

Sneak peak of holiday activity

Club Ninth Anniversary Party
Our club is celebrating its NINTH birthday in this November in the first week of holiday on 22 November 2008. This will be held at the grand ballroom of Tanjung Bungah Beach Hotel. It's a party and there will be food, music, dance, show, gift and a lots more. Bring your friends and family, everyone can come, ticket will be priced at RM38, and part of the collection will goes to the charity.

Blood Donation Campaign
This is a joint project with the Leo Club of Convent Datuk Kramat which will be held in first week of December. Come and help out with us.

FOYI Children Camp
佛教义学 or FOYI will be organizing a camp for children below 12 in December about Buddhism. Our club's Second Vice President, Leo Kwang Min Xiang is currently the camp leader and he is in charge or this project. Members can come and join to have fun with the children, be a counsillor, take care of the children. This is a fun camp and will be held in mid December.

October is Membership Growth Month

Hello members, non-member, students, teacher, friends, family, alien, undefined living objects or anything. I want to tell you guys that the coming month, October is our Leo Club membership growth month.

Let's go around the school, introduce to your friend about Leo Club and invite them to join our team.

It's service, it's charity, it's a team, it's fun, it's nice.

Dear members, we will be giving you guys the registration form in the coming days. Please try your best to bring in as many new members as you can. We want to build a big team. For some of your information, our school CCA registration is on January, but then we will start accepting registration in October and when January comes in the next year, we will help you to register right away.

The privilege of joining now is you get to join our fun activity during the year end holiday.

Business Meeting

BUSINESS MEETING WITH FORM 1 AND 2

FORM REPS IN AFTERNOON SESSION WANTED

Hello Form 1 and 2 Leos, we will be having a business meeting this Saturday at class 3TC4 at 10.00am on 20th September 2008. Please tell your friends who is also a Leo member about this meeting.

We will be discussing about some upcoming interesting projects, activities, have a brain storming session, get to know more about each other and also we will be choosing representatives for afternoon session. It's not only Form 2, but also Form 1 Leo will get a chance to be a form rep to.

Attire : Club T-Shirt (with vest if available)
*All members with the exception of Form 3s who are having PMR.

Social visit to Little Sister of Poor

SOCIAL SERVICE AND VISIT
TO LITTLE SISTER OF POOR THIS SATURDAY
CANCELED - POSTPONED

Update: The school did not approve the application for the above social service and visit to the Little Sister of Poor. Thus, this will be postponed to the coming week. I will confirm once again with you guys when I got the approval letter. =)

I am organizing a social service and visit to Little Sister of Poor beside our school this Saturday, 20th September 2008. All members are required to attend this activity to give commitment in the community service.

Besides being involved in community service, you can also get some idea on how to write your report for your moral or whatever service project you are working on or in the future. Gerko J will be submitted so, even without the needs of a certificate, you will get to get the marks for Penglibatan for CCA.

Meet in front of school hall before 9.30am and then we will only walk to there together.

HELPERS NEEDED

21st September 2008, Lions Club of Penang (Host) and our sister clubs are jointly organizing a 4 in one project at Li Tek Primary School, Maccallum Rd.

There will be

• Peace Poster Drawing Competition
• Blood Donation Campaign
• Food Fair
• Free Health Screening

Form 1 and Form 2 members are required to attend this activity to help out as a helper for this event.
